Ladies, there has to come a time in your life, preferably sooner than later, where you simply WILL NOT entertain certain ideas, certain things, certain environments, and certain people anymore. There is nothing wrong with vulnerability and emotional intimacy, softness of heart, but it must be balanced with clear vision, with a sharp and penetrating mental clarity. The stories of women who have lost opportunities, who have let their creative ideas and inspirational goals just wither away over careless intermingling with equally careless and fruitless men and deceptive “friends” could fill volume after volume. It’s pitiful, and it’s honestly got to stop. For your own sake. For your sanity. For your future. It’s like some of you are waiting for that moment, still waiting for some fairy prince, or for someone to bring the fulfillment of your desires to your doorstep but it’s all idle fancy. Earth bound time is limited. You want to experience tangible reward for your time here, then work with Mother Nature to bring it to fruition, and let nothing and no one get in the way with silly tricks and sleight of hand. Don’t get fooled by the puppet show and end up becoming the puppet. Cut off the toxic dross. Take some time to heal up, COMPLETELY. That means no more reruns with the same people who hurt you and held you back. It’s getting boring, and you know it. So let everything heal up nicely. Be bitingly honest with yourself, discipline yourself with curt inner dialogue, then pamper yourself, and show yourself that you are loved and worth it, that the discipline is to help you, not to hinder you. Then you plan. You regroup. You let your creative visions come to life and take solid action towards building them into something that pleases you, that fulfills you, that reminds you of the beauty and glory of the material world and tangible achievement. This is purpose, legacy, your piece of history.
“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
“You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

I have to decide that I’m going to do what’s best for me in the long run even though it means giving up things that feel nice right now
One of the most powerful quotes I’ve ever read was like “don’t ever let a man have to tell you twice that he doesn’t want you” and I really live and love by that.
